Bella Luxx & Alo Sample Sale This Weekend!

Posted on 9:13 PM by dividedend
It's been a crazy week for me!  But I made it to the Bella Luxx / Alo sample sale today lol.  Priorities, my friends!  The sample sale is today and tomorrow, and Bella Luxx long sleeves go for $25 while short sleeves and tanks are $15.  They also have dresses, pants, shorts, skirts and prices are all under $30 I believe.  Of course they also had lots of Alo and Bella tanks/tights/tops/jackets that are listed at lower prices.  I just didn't really look at them.  I have more than enough workout clothes, so I specifically went for Bella Luxx.  I actually really really like all the Bella Luxx items I already own.  I have bought 2 dresses (here and here), and one top before.  The material they use is amazingly soft.  But I just really love the casual SoCal vibe.

I didn't go too crazy today.  So I bought 4 Bella Luxx tops and one Alo top for myself.  But I also got 3 tops for my mom since her birthday is next week.  Although this sale seemed to have a really large selection of size S, whereas my mom's size L had very few items so I ended up spending more time simply looking for size Ls.  They did not carry many size Ms and XS either.

I'm really happy with all the items I got actually, and I could have easily bought more!  If you live nearby, and wear size S (these items run kind of large so if you are a M normally, you'd find stuff too), I think its worth checking it out if you can make it there tomorrow!

So here are what I got.  First, the Bella Luxx Tunnel Neck sweater in a beautiful maroon color.  It's a size S.  It's super soft and I love the way it fits.  I think this one is my favorite of everything I got, if I had to pick one.

I've been more into light and neutral tones lately, so this Bella Luxx Raglan Pullver in off white marl caught my eye.  It's a lightweight and soft sweater, and can easily be worn with anything.  Super comfy.  Also size S.

The next one is the Bella Luxx Tulip Back sweater in wheat.  Pretty much same color as the sleeves in the one above.  The back is interesting though.  It's a size XS.

I thought this Bella Luxx jacket was a great deal for $25.  It is open front style, so it does not have any buttons or zippers for closure.  It's like a sweat shirt material but style of a nice jacket.  Can almost pass for a tweed jacket from a distance.  I think I can wear it to work.  I'm always looking for more "professional" looking clothes made of comfortable material lol.  Size S too.

I like the black piping around the edges:

The jacket does not come with a tag.  So I don't know what it's called.

The only Alo item I got myself is this Raglan Pullover Hoodie with completely mesh sleeves and back.  I love mesh.  This hoodie is awesome.  It's a size S and runs slightly larger than the Bella Luxx items in size S.

It's kind of hard to see the mesh in the above pics, so I took closer ones!  It's the bigger, more open kind of mesh:

So, just for fun, I put on the 3 items I got for my mom too.  They are size L, but they actually look ok on me.  I hope they will fit her... lol!  First one is this Bella Luxx tank with cross over front.  Love plum for fall:

Second one is a simple thin Bella Luxx long sleeve:

So the top portion and the back are ribbed material, so it's a little bit more interesting to look at:

Lastly, I got her this comfy Alo sweatshirt with cross front detail.  It's thicker, and would be great for chilling around the house or running quick errands:

Anyway, so all these items cost me under $200 after tax.  I've been to the same sale for a few times now, and I think they definitely raised their price this time.  Although men's shirts were still $5 a piece, even for tech shirts (they didn't have very many though).  So price increase seems to be only for women.  But they had way more Bella Luxx items than in the past, and I'm ok with paying a bit of  a premium for nicer clothes that I can wear both casually and to work.  They had a lot of stuff, and I was only there for a short while.  I'm tempted to go back tomorrow... lol!
